Ohh yeaa i made the kernel to especially work with P500 CM7 roms! But i think ill just leave it as there because not too many want to have STOCK rom so wasting time on it is just pointless!

Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed

well i dont know if this is a fluke, but using rom manager to "fix permissions" has so far cured the laggy blackscreen when a call comes in. my quess is it fixed the proxy sensor. this was a bonus, cuz i was going after the com.android.phone error hope it helps there too.
because i was board i google the com.android.phone error this was one suggestion. others seemed ridiculous.
just as a nice to know... one unfortunate sole got the error just from unlocking the sim. not even rooted.

Good tip trying it on my phone now. But speaking of ROM Manager has anyone else been unable to update to the new version? Mine keeps telling me there is some error (cant remember it now).

OK Updated ROM

This is Perfect Pesto 1.4 which is an ICS themed ROM built from the CosmicXperia ROM. I posted an older version that gave the android.phone error. This is an updated version that may or may not have the same issue (there was a fix but no promises it works with our phone). I have not tested it but it looks promising. It works on the new and old basebands so its good with our kernel. Any interested victims make sure your clear all the caches and such when you install. I can't test this ROM right now as I need my phone for the next day or so and cant have down time with it. If anyone tries it out let us know how it works.

Donavan, I'm making a backup now. Will flash when done.

Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed

NVM, the downloads are blocked at school, I can flash when I get home in about 5 hours.

Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed

Well first of all 1.2 is old baseband and running on .32 kernel and 1.4 is new baseband running on .35 kernel so unless you dont want your calls and text to go in and disorted colors then thats your own choice but if you flash my kernel on top of it the phone wont boot because its not a .35 kernel!

Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed

Well so much for that one. I didnt notice the NBB only for anything above 1.2 and I dont think he fixed the phone issue until 1.3 so its probably a no go. Just saw it and thought it might be good.

Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed

Sadly, I think we are tapped out. Everyone on XDA is moving to the .35 kernal and NBB.

Its been a fun ride.

NOOOOOO!!!!!!!

I refuse to accept this fact no matter how true it may be. Where is your hacker attitude?

Forgot to add this: I updated today cause something was up about 2 days ago where it wouldnt even detect my sim so i had to go back to stock, but im happy we finally got an update.
Another thing: Just checked, and the kernel i'm on is 2.6.35.7, so isn't this really good for us?????!?!?!!?!?

Where did you get the stock gingerbread ROM from?

Haha the *official way* ^_^ LG Mobile Support Tool. What led me on is going to the link that joban posted in his other thread. The "get LG to release source" or whatever. I had see There was not only a download for the froyo source, but the gingerbread v20F source as well.. So that's when I went to check if what I had suspected was true, and it was :D
