I keep reading that the ICS and official CM7 are on New Baseband. Are you using a patch and if so, which one?

Joban you have once again proven to be my hero for the day. Are there any other cool tweak that we see in some of the other ROM/Kernels that you can throw into your kernel while you're at it to make the phone perform better?

Dear friend Joban, As for you ICS rom working , can u please provide us the steps or ur updated kernel so we can also eat Ice Cream... i have already rooted my phone and running matts rom with ur kernel.. do i need to get the official update from lg...will it change baseband or something... which will make ICS rom work...?

Ok so iv'e been waiting for about 15-20 min. and my phone still isnt rooted, it's been on the "Rooting, Device will reboot on success" or whatever for this long.

Use original lg firmware app from xda to get the kdz file. Type in model # and phone serial #. I'm getting v20a which is gingerbread for sure so it looks like all of us bitc*in to them worked. I sent about 100 of those requests that joban pointed us to.

Ok if your on gingerbread the gingerbreak app is patched so try superoneclick!
