[ROM] [05.25.11] Das BAMF 1.7

I thought if we flashed the radio included in The 1.5 update that we didn't need a new radio for 1.6?

There is a new radio out. There are several flavors of it (stock cdma, new LTE, vice versa, new both)

I flashed mine back to stock and it works better for me.

I wasn't sure if DJBeanPole meant 1.6 has the new radio included or if you updated it previously you won't need to again with 1.6.

The latter is true.

Well I had the one released when 1.5 came out and flashed it before installing. So I guess I don't need to flash the radio again.

Easy to check.
Settings/About Phone/Software Information

Look at what it says under Baseband Version.
If it says 1.16.00.223r that is the factory radio.
If it ends in something else...it's the new radio.

Thanks sometimes its the most obvious thing. I have the new radio already then.

Hard to believe this phone could be running any better from 1.5, but it's noticeably snappier. The toolkit and call recorder are welcome additions as well. Thanks again!

Nate,
What SetCPU profile and settings are you using?
Also, when you make a change in the Toolkit under settings, does your phone reboot?

TIA

I've never used separate profiles in Setcpu. With the cpu settings in the toolkit, I'm sure it's no longer needed and may actually cause problems if you're using both.

Depending on what you change in the toolkit, the phone will reboot automatically for the changes to take effect.

Gotcha...
Since it's using the same governor...I setup profiles for screen off (min and max set to the lowest) and a profile setup for Battery 15%< and charging.

I wasn't sure about the phone rebooting after changes being made...so glad it's not just me.

I can tell you I was running the imoseyon extreme lean on mine but the BAMF 4.3.3 seems much snappier and responsive.
On 1.5 the Extreme Lean 1.41 was better for me...

What steps did you take when upgrading to 1.5?

Went into clockwork Recovery, deleted cache, then delvik cache, then install zip from SD card, browsed to it...went to work.

Took more time to delete cache and browse to it then it did to actually flash the ROM.

Something I didn't realize I would lose - the little indicator above the bottom bar indicating which of the 7 home screens I am on. Any ideas how to get that back?

Perhaps it's something i'm doing wrong, but whenever i flash a ROM (I've tried several different ones), the background img from the previous ROM always appears. Is this normal?

I do a complete wipe everytime(data/cache/devilk) > install from zip > perform 1st boot > Main setup screen appears (never selecting one setting) > power off > power on > walk through the setup > and BAM wallpaper magically appears about 2 seconds later.

I've noticed that since flashing to 1.6 and adding the radio firmware update that when I make a call I get a notice saying it can't find my LTE SIM card. However, the notice disappears after a couple seconds and the call goes through/works just fine, but the button that should be labeled 'end' is labeled 'cancel'. Thoughts?

my phone started to random reboot so i upgraded to 1.6 and when i was restoring my apps i cant find wifi tether on the market. ne one else have this problem, or know where i can get it back. would be good just to put it in the rom. also great rom btw. very crisp.
