[ROM] [05.25.11] Das BAMF 1.7

Anyone else having problems with the phone freezing during app updates from the market? Not all apps, just random so far. Everything was restored used titanium backup. I have also already done the "fix permissions" in rom manager. Running the BAMF 1.6.1 update.

I've had that problem. I thought perhaps it was just me, and that i was updating too many apps at once, but i see i'm not alone now.

You know why, right? Its due to it being an intensive writing process. Larger apps are more likely to do it.

I'm running 1.6 Remix. Do i need to do a full wipe in order to go to 1.6.2, or is there another method to doing this? Thanks in advance.

Its a patch. Per the first thread, please don't ask about wiping (I explained it already).

There is a remix version coming out.

Gotcha. Thanks.

So when the remix version comes out, can i just go into CWR and update from there?

I just installed the 1.6.1 remix patch just a few hours ago b/c I wanted the volume button sound to go away when changing volume. Did I just make up that info on the change log about that fix or did i just goof on the install? cleared cache/davlik and reinstalled twice.

I noticed that on both 1.6.1 and 1.6.2 that the call volume is very loud. Changing the volume all the way up and then back down again does fix it, but the problem occurs again after rebooting.
Also, video recording doesn't record any sound initially unless you toggle the "record with audio" setting, but the problem occurs again after rebooting.
Other than those issues, the rom runs great!

The volume is where it is supposed to be now. Before I accidently had it lowered due to a previous commit, I didn't fully revert in the kernel.

This is how its supposed to be.

Something doesn't seem right with the volume. If I restart the phone on the lowest volume and make a call the volume will still sound as if its on its maximum volume. Same happens if its at half volume turning it down does nothing until you max volume and then reduce it. The volume has no visible change even when increasing it to max as its already set at max after a restart no matter where the.actual call volume is set. It's so loud its distorted.

Basically the volume is unaffected by increasing or.decreasing until you max it and.reduce it I reverted back to 1.5 and don't have the issue probably stay at 1.5 until this issue is discovered.
