@TEREKAZAR, you need to head over to either the HOW TO clockwork recovery for Phoenix, or the HOW TO CWM for thrive. Or both. See if the info there gets you anywhere. If you have any questions post in that thread and someone will try to answer.

Yes as long as you get the one. 32 kernel and old baseband. Flashing baseband is for. 35 kernel's. Nothing to do with this phone as we haven't been updated. Enjoy.

Yeah I was wondering if it were possible to use the new baseband with the old kernal but I guess we need an update here.

Joban, is there any technical explanation you can give as to why your kernel has this bug with the phone not waking when a call comes in? My girl and two of my friends really would like to try cyanogen but wont because of this bug. I have tried every single rom there is on xda with your kernel and the bug is always there. Myself, im loving my skyrocket with SkyIceCreamSandwich OC'd to 1.72ghz. I was going to donate, but you said you weren't gonna fix this so why should I?

im sorry dude but you know its not so easy as it sounds! even the p500 has this bug and there is a app on the market called call patch etc. and that helped me so give that a try too!

what we have now seems pretty working version to me! What more u want? Small bugs will be fixed when LG releases some sources for GB than then that im no super genius or some god O

Hey guys, So i'm completely new when it comes to flashing roms, so bear with me.

I've rooted my phone and used Clockwork Mod Recovery and I have successfully installed CyanogenMMatt v1.1. It restarted with distorted colors as mentioned. I then used clockwork mod again and attempted to install Joban's kernal. When it reboots it shows the silver LG logo and then stays stuck in a black screen. I waited for about an hour to see if it would load with no success. Is there something I might of missed? I'm assuming the kernal loads as a zip as well.

btw I'm runing P505.

Make sure you wipe the cache, factory reset and dalvik cache after you flash the kernel as well

Thanks, actually just updated rom manager from the default one in cyanogen mod. And it worked!

flash kernel the same way you flash rom. assuming you used CWM for the rom.
