just finished flashing the new Radio and rebooting now....booted fine after rom flash but didn't have the radio done yet so I did that next. Lets see what happens.

Quick question. Probably been answered already, but I couldn't find the answer. If I wipe, flash this, then flash the new gb radio, then decide i want to go back to 1.7, can I just use my nandroid backup of 1.7, or will I need to flash an older radio manually?

You'll still need to flash the older radio back. The nandroid backups do not backup or replace the radio files.

Thanks for the quick response. Am I correct in assuming that I would need to flash the radio right away, before letting the phone boot up with the wrong radio? or will it boot and just not work correctly?

It will boot, but you'll get a whole bunch of errors and you won't get any data/voice service. I typically flash the radio first, and then install the rom, but you can do it in either order.

Just curious..everyone seems to enjoy running it, but I don't like installing until a "somewhat polished" version is out. (And I'm still nervous about the bricking...although I haven't seen any examples for a few weeks now). Thank you.

I think its just a preview of bamf 3.0 beta. To be honest it functions better than any other rom I've used on my TB. No hiccups, no random reboots. Been running it about 24 hours now.

Preview 3 is working smoothly so far. It's silly but the Sense 3.0 lockscreen makes the ROM.

After multiple computer issues and limping around with my laptop (which is also dying), I can work at normal speed with a new computer.

Anyway, here is Preview 4:
