You have it; if nothing happens and you release the Power button - keep holding that VOL button down until it boots into HBOOT. If that doesn't work, try going back into the phone, ROM Manager, and reinstalling CWM.

go into rom manager and click REBOOT INTO RECOVERY that way... takes you there all the same
yeah it does suck... its an ugly color... I just cant figure out why it wont revert back, im baffled
[This is not a 2.0-5 issue, so I apologize for the digress, but every time I flash a new ROM the number of duplicates in my Contacts double.]
I wish my backups went so easily. On mine, it's not backing up all of my contacts, only a small portion of them. I tested earlier: Google backed up 87, whereas an export of all phone Contacts resulted in 1600+ contacts exported to the .vcf file on the SD card. I should only have 300+ valid contacts - the rest are those duplicates found "linked" to the originals.
Is there a way to export/transfer/reset Contacts/People to be recognized for inclusion with Google backup.

The the person above me, you have to reinstall Rom Manager, that is the problem I had.
As for my problem, I flashed to my backup, made a Titanium backup of the People folder, and flashed back to Gingerbamf. When I tried to restore People in Gingerbamf it is still missing several contacts. Is there any way I can pull contact info by looking on the root directory of the SD card on my computer? There are only like three contacts that I am missing, so if I could see them on my computer that would be easier than flashing back to 1.6 again to get 3 phone numbers.

IM just baffled. when you set up your google acct on your phone dont people have the option to sync DOCS as well as calendar, and the other things... because syncing your docs will save your apps. paid or free, it will reinstall them from rom to rom..
I can't get the MR2 radio to work right with 2.0-6. All I can get is a 1x for data usage. I flashed the ROM after wiping everything 3 times. I then powered down to flash the radio in hboot. Any suggestions?
it could just be that 4g is down again in ur area and its reverting to 1x
this has been happening on and off for the past 2 months
I can't even get 3G to work. I will keep switching radios until things get better. I might also go to 1.7.
I went back to 1.7 the other day after the mr2 froyo brick, but i think i'm going to jump on beta 6 pretty soon. Hopefully this normal lock screen ring patch will be sorted out by then.
maybe the 87 is what google exported from the 'phone' list?
if you go to your google account, go to contacts, there should be a fix duplicates button somewhere that will find your duplicates, and let you check/uncheck the ones you want to merge or not. after i did that i didnt have any more problems with duplicates on my phone.

Its a beta, alot of things might not work.
You could try one of the previous releases maybe.
Flash a Froyo-compatible radio nd restore your nandroid backup. That will put you back to where you started.
If you're still having trouble getting into boot, download Quick Boot from the Market. It has options to boot you into recovery and bootloader (boot).
I did it all "by the book" and I still had some issues. Did the whole factory reset 3 times and flashed the ROM in CWM and did NOT use TiBu for anything. I went to the larket and installed one app at a time and just kept getting multiple FC error messages. I'm OK with it as I am very happy with 1.6.3 and I'm sure the bugs will continue to be worked out.

did you try FIX PERMISSIONS in ROM manager, generally that will take care of your FC's
