Back on preview 4 and the MR2 radio. Briefly reverted to 1.7 after the latest bricking reports, but the reboots with the Froyo radio were driving me to drink.

On preview 4, the ringtone selection menu displays some weird text at the top but otherwise works. Also, the applications management screen is glitchy but getting by using TiB to delete applications. Other than these two issues, preview 4 runs well and keeping it as my daily driver.

Now, I need to go read 300 pages of posts over at xda.

Is anyone having a problem getting the lock screen to require the pin?
I have set it up 3 times and it won't ask for my pin

Did you check the timeout for it to lock? Go to your security settings and make sure that is set to lock immediately or whatever time amount you want.

I have been locking the screen after setting the pin to test. Also tried a reboot.
I have got it working after disabling the sense lockscreen with the BAMF toolkit.

That's really odd, it works fine for me with the HTC lock screen

I really wish I could get the Original Silver lockscreen ring to work... there is even a new zip that replaced the first one at XDA, but I cannot get rid of this green ring... anyone else in the same boat?

just flashed 2.0.6 & have come to rely pretty heavily on the use of volumbe buttons while the screen is off (driving)

hopefully it's just my connection here @ work. i'll give it another try @ home in a few hours.

On another note, past the lockscreen, do your Dialer and Apps icons work properly? I press Dialer and All Apps come up, and pressing the Apps icon brings up the Dialer. LOL

I assume these files are located on IRC, and not on the forums. That being said, what file is being offered for download in the original post? Does it have a preview number?

your info says that your on beta 5, is that right? because they didn't change the rosie mods (thanks to skyraider/thatdudebutch) until number 6... on the far left shows the telephone icon and the center is the apps icon. and they both work correctly for me... if you are using 6 then they should work correctly and if they don't then you need to reflash 6. I would just do a simple cache and dalvik wipe first, and if that doesn't work then you may need to do a full wipe... also, I wouldn't use the zip that you have,. I would redownload it agian from xda.

They're previews... work in progress until the final build of the rom is complete. As they work on the rom and make changes.. they have been releasing some previews of what it may look like in the end. Just so you know, the previews are full roms.. not add ons.. and need to be flashed like any other rom.

I don't even have IE on my computer anymore... I have been using Firefox forever now... guess I need to pull the old laptop out.. I hope IE will work. kinda wierd that firefox has worked for every other zip though, Gracias, CyberWarrior, I will let you and everyone else know if it works.
