[ROM][GB][5.23.11]Das BAMF 2.0-5

Weird. I have had no problems with my music

Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk

I meant to update the other thread. I uninstalled winamp and used the Music app just fine. I might try to reinstall but the music app will probably do just fine. Winamp was reinstalled from Titanium Backup so I am wondering if that has something to do with the problem since I flashed GB from Froyo (but I didn't restore any system data - just apps and app data).

I dont even use titianium backup since google is now able to reinstall ALL apps now :) paid and free apps.... its awesome

ALSO. if anyone uses ZEDGE for wallpapers or anything, save it to your SD card and when you switch roms all you have to do is restore under advanced setting and it will automatically reinstall all of you info. MUST be on sd card or will not work :)

Had the same exact problem. Pull out the battery to shut down the phone. Power back on into bootloader (hold volume down & the power button at the same time until the phone starts up) and go to recovery. Wipe data & caches and flash the rom again. I used the same downloaded zip of the rom. Not sure what went wrong but I had the same problem you had. Screen was unresponsive and all I could see was the wallpaper and notification bar... launcher was gone and I could only use the power button to turn the screen on and off.. it would not power down the phone.

THIS SOLVED MY PROBLEM!!!! THANK YOU!!!

AND this rom is amazing! Keep up the amazing work!!!!

someone will ALWAYS be able to help you on AC. best forum ever... I am glad you got it straightend out... CYBER WARRIOR is the man!

I don't think there is. Imoseyon has released several different versions of his kernel over the past few weeks, and some have been better or worse with charging. It's one of the reasons why I reverted back to Froyo for the time being and experiment with the MR2 for awhile. Hopefully they can get that straightened out along with some other fixes. I'll be back no matter what with the next major release for this ROM though, it's gonna be awesome.

First: BACKUP your contacts and anything else you deem important. See indepth threads for more.
Download the MR2 radio file to the root of your SD card.
Download the ROM you want to your folder of choice on the SD card.
Make sure you have ROM Manager and ROM Manager Premium installed.
- In ROM Manager, click on "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery"

Reboot into CWM Recovery
EDIT: Delete CACHE and FORMAT to factory (repeat 3x)
Choose to "install ROM from zip file"
Browse to zip file using VOL up/down keys, then Power button to execute
Allow ROM to fully install.
Reboot
Allow phone to boot into new ROM and allow it several minutes to settle.
Pull ring or slide down to access phone. Skip through the setup without setting up.
Go to File Manager and rename the MR2 radio file to be PG05IMG.zip
Power phone OFF
While holding the VOL Down button, Press and hold the Power button until it boots up. If not booting up, release power button ONLY (while still holding VOL DOWN button)
Phone should boot up, search for and load that radio file.
Reboot phone
Setup
Enjoy

There are other ways, but that's how I did it successfully this last time.

ANYONE ELSE, if you see anything I missed, please fill in.

No need to flash ROM and Radio in two different steps you can do them both within the same session in CWM. VERY IMPORTANT... before installing any zip, at least clear cache and dalvik... IF coming from another ROM you need to do a full wipe as well... ALSO, most problems arise from using ROM manager, I only use it for doing backups... just to be safe go into CWM when flashing zips , ROM, etc...

That was my post; music app works perfectly fine now, as long as I'm not running cardio trainer in the background.

Try Runkeeper. It is a free app in the market. I have not tried it on Bamf 2.0 yet as I have been using the treadmill due to the VA heat. Hopefully that will give you less (no) problems with the music app.

He doesn't keep an archive of his past versions unfortunately. At least none that I'm aware of

Is there a particular thread where we can get the latest though? The one I have I downloaded from the official Bamf 2.0 thread that contains the download for the beta 5 ROM (downloaded 2 nights ago).

This morning I have been getting very bad battery life. The current widget says it's between 340 and 376 mA while mobile Internet and wifi are off. What can I do to fix this?
