[ROM][GB][5.23.11]Das BAMF 2.0-5

Excellent jump for 2.0-6. I am amazed that you can Over clock all the way up to 1.92. thats alot, I PERSONALLY wont go above 1.4, I have read that spikes over 1.8 can damage the phone... voltages have alot to play in that too... be careful guys :) enjoy... :)

Try the Netflix update link from the Bamf remix thread... Should be the same thing.
Post #2 [ROM][6.14.11] BAMF GingerREMIX v2.0 Beta #6 - UPDATED! Patch options in post #2! - xda-developers
I just downloaded and flashed it two minutes ago so it definitely works.

if i flash gingerRemix coming from 2.0-5 do i need to reinstall the radio or will that remain after i wipe before flashing. thanks

No need to flash ROM and Radio in two different steps you can do them both within the same session in CWM. VERY IMPORTANT... before installing any zip, at least clear cache and dalvik... IF coming from another ROM you need to do a full wipe as well... ALSO, most problems arise from using ROM manager, I only use it for doing backups... just to be safe go into CWM when flashing zips , ROM, etc...

? So, after flashing the ROM zip in recovery mode, you stay right there and next select the radio zip file and flash it right there, not in HBOOT? It's interesting all the different variances in the process that work. Thanks for sharing this.

Radio needs to be flashed in hboot. Doesn't matter which you do first. If you do the radio first, which is what I did, you will lose your connection to Verizon. You can then just boot into clockwork and flash the GB Rom.

Gave the GB ROM a try and while I liked a lot of what I saw with Sense, I wasn't thrilled with all the FC messages I was getting. Everything from Swype to Swiftkey to Gmail to Whatsapp was giving an FC error message. So after about an hour of all the overlapping error messages I just went back to trusty ol' 1.6.3. But glad to hear that it's working for many.

That's what worked for me and I would have stuck to, but thanks for clarifying for those searching/reading later. Thanks sent.

Hey, so I just flashed the MR2 radio and GingerBamf 2.0.6. It works really well, the only problem is that I made a Titanium Backup of all my apps, but I did not make a backup of all my contacts. I made a nandroid backup before I flashed the radio and the rom, If I restore the old rom (das bamf 1.6) will I be able to make a titantium backup of my contacts, and then go back into recovery and flash back to gingerbamf? Would I have to flash the radio again as well or will that be ok?

Also, when in Titanium backup, what should I backup so I will not lose my contacts.

Thanks for all the help, this thread really helped out when flashing gingerbamf

Did you restore your apps and data in Titanium Backup? I had some problems when I restored both apps and data. I just went back to GB and restored just apps only and no force closes.

So far after just about 6 hrs on 2.0-6, I have def noticed improved battery life... I am texting alot as usual, streamin podcasts, twitcaster, facebook... basically moderate to heavy use (which is normal for me :)).

I am set with stock kernel and runnin cpu at 245-1.2 interactiveX setting... I really like this updated ROM...

I have tried everything I can think of BUT i cannot get rid of the GREEN ring on the LOCK screen... I have cleared cache and dalvik multiple times, then I flash the zip for the original grey lockscreen mod and it wont revert back.... Im just not the biggest fan of the color.. any ideas peeps ? :)

Seth, there is an additional link below the beta5 download link to a flash file that will revert that green ring back to silver.
Here you go: Original Lockscreen - Silver Ring
