So I have flashed my phone twice. I did the stock ebo1 with cwm and just stock with out cwm flash. The only issue I'm having is the phone seems to get a little hot in my pocket. Seems to be fine with use.With this program Elixir I was able to look at the temp of my battery and its gotten as high as 95 degrees F. So I was wondering should the battery get that hot? Is there a app that lets me check the temps of my Processor or other components? How would I know if the phone is over heating? I'm just worried about it and was thinking of flashing back to stock. Please help?

Also is it a known bug that the browser with flash enabled but on demand, when you pinch to zoom in and out there is a checkerboard pattern?

Welcome to Android Central. Yes this is safe as long as you follow the guidelines and steps. Once you root you will no longer get OTA updates since you have to be in a stock state to get OTA updates. I think everyone who roots is pretty much in agreement that we don't care about the OTA updates because the custom ROMs you use when you are rooted always seem to be superior to the official verizon stock ROMs and our phones definitely perform faster.

Rooting is what you do to put these custom ROMs on your phone. I would suggest a little reading before you jump in the water. Start here:

Then I would recommend one of DroidXcon's all-in-one ODIN packages which will give you root, clockworkmod recovery, and the latest software with only a few simple steps on your part. I would recommend the EB16SC28_DXC.tarThey are the best thing for first time rooters, and you can try other things as you become more knowledgeable and experience with doing things with your phone.
