anyone try the oxygen AOSP rom? [ROM]Oxygen ROM (Android 2.3.7) - xda-developers

yeah, it runs, difficulties don't know yet, i'll see how it preforms over a day or so, perhaps i shall stick with it.

does it have the com.android.phone error? try reboot couple of times, and see?

does it have the com.android.phone error? try reboot couple of times, and see?

no it doesn't but usb connecting and turning off the screen and then turning on gives a black screen, so yeah its not very usable... and you guys must do something weird, i've never gotten the com.android.phone error

Lgp500 is optimus one
Lgp505 is Phoenix
lgp506 is thrive
What we are doing is tricking our Phoenix/thrive to run optimus roms. So in about phone you will see it as p500. Until someone makes a rom specificly for our phones.

Wondering if anyone has any incite about the call log error with sonygen mod, its getting annoying.
Flashed your new kernal joban. My quadrant has gone from 1064 to 967. Not saying the kernal did it. Just fyi cuz I'm sure its just the apps ive installed.

My quadrant has gone from 1064 to 967. Not saying the kernal did it.

I ran quadrant a number of times and found that my score could vary by as much as 100 between runs run quadrant a few times with some time in between. Then do the same thing again after a fresh reboot this will tell you if its your apps that are running in the back ground.

So seeing people were getting confused and I was tired last night, the oxygen rom is a nice smooth rom, however usb device support is broken, perhaps from the kernel I never tested further because when I pushed the power button for stand by it went off, that's suppose to happen, but when I wanted to turn it back on, I got a black unusable screen,so the rom in that sense is a little useless.l whn I had to pop the battery to get a working screen.

Those that want the ics ring lock, there are a few threads on xda that can help I'll add links later.

I went back to the original cm7 2.3.7 as opposed to cyanogenmmatt 1.1.

same here thats why i want to change my launcher and boot animation... i just read that some one had an issue after they put a diff launcher on it...
id flash something else, but this one has given me the least amount of issues...so far.

yea i had the like twice and then switched to cyanogenmmatt rom, and never got any error yet!

I never did get a call log error, but if you upgrade to gingercrust V1.2 a 2.3.7 rom with some sony xperia ports, you can change the launcher and i have yet to get errors, i have it at a nice clock of 710, sometimes 748, as anything higher crashes the phone, swaped the home launcher to adw launcher, and its working smoothly, no issues. Quadrant score of 1297 on 710mhz clock, i think its nice. Heres the link:

** it may be possible to get the ics flashable theme on it, don't know yet as i havent tried, and supposedly xda has a ics themed p500 rom coming that doesnt need to flash 2 or more things. Give it a look if you want.

[3 NOV][ROM] Ice CyanCream Sandwich Love v6.1 (More than a Themed ROM!) - xda-developers <-- i'll try it: It works nicely, smooth, no errors it seems. So far anyways, was a little weird getting it flashed but a good rom none the less.
