[ROM][GB][5.23.11]Das BAMF 2.0-5

I flashed the toolkit at the bottom of the original post right after I flashed the kernel. Where do I find Terminal Emulator from the toolkit I flashed?

Thank you! Have you tried any of his other settings? I ran the emulator quick to see what my current settings are and here is what I am at:

min:245
max:1.024
governor:interactivex

Then it says "you appear to be in running in safe mode" What's that mean?

I don't know how everyone is flashing their device and having problems. This is what I do. and it works 4g and all. Even netflix.
1. Rename the radio to PG05IMG.ZIP put in main directory of sd card
2. Turn of device and boot in hboot (either by volume down and power button or if you are in a romantic that has the reboot in bootloader option)
3. Let hboot do its thing and press volume up for it to update radio
4. Once done and it tells you press power to reboot, do it.
5. You should boot up to your original rom, if it's a froyo version you will have no service. So don't be alarmed.
6. Place das BAMF 2.0-4.01, test7 kernel, Netflix patch, and Netflix app. in your SD card
7. Either boot into recovery by rom manager or reset option into recovery.
8. Wipe data, wipe cache then wipe dalvik all three times in that order
9. In recovery rom from sd, then install kernel, then Netflix patch. Then Reboot from menu don't pull battery at all. (Netflix os optional but why not you are there already)

Side load Netflix
Enjoy

I just got this from xda. Still have a noob or 2 running around. This may help.

Anyone else habing market forceclose issues? (whenever i attempt to dl an app, or go to my apps) I tried deleting the vend files in /data/data/ as instructed in the xda thread, which only causes the market to crash upon opening. Tried reflashing and recovery to no avail as well.

In safe mode, it doesn't overclock or undervolt the processor. I use battsaver which undervolts a bit more and doesn't overclock, and use the ondemandx governor. Imoseyon's kernel thread has a good explanation of the options and the governor settings in the first couple of posts.

Keep in mind that not all phones handle undrevolting and overclocking in the same way. Make sure that you're not overriding any settings you're making in speedtweak.sh with settings in the das BAMF toolkit or Setcpu.

So you're saying only use the emulator or the toolkit and not both to change voltage settings (i don't have setcpu)? Does the emulator change the governor also or do I have to use the toolkit for that?

CPU settings in the toolkit can override the selections that you made using the speedtweak.sh script so make sure your settings are consistent. Otherwise, you may not be using the settings that you were expecting.

What's everyone getting for idle current draw while the screen is off? Is it 34-40 mA like normal or higher?

I'm seeing about 40 mA when idling with the screen off using v2.5.4test4 using battsaver. Seeing about 150mA in idle with WiFi on, which is a known issue with the kernel.

Help Anyone .....i just flashed the Bamf 2.04beta and phone says no service.....but i hbooted the gingerbread radio twice.....???....what should i try next?

Are you positive you downloaded the GB radio (It's the last link on the radio download page)? I know it sounds remedial, but I managed to click the wrong radio link twice. I've had no problems since I got un-stupid, however.

I have no service either. I downloaded the zip for the GB radio at XDA. How do I install it?? I'm a newbie. I installed das bamf with no problem. What is Hboot? I tried "install zip from sd card" in clockwork but that didnt' work. Help please.
