I tried with no luck but this ROM was awesome only I couldn't get Skype to install and the netflix that is included is the old version and after i deleted from /system/app and /data/app I couldn't install the netflix apk it kept failing.

yes! i couldn't get skype to install, either. made me so angry.

but--i did find a working netflix .apk, i've posted links in threads @ xda & phandroid. download this netflix apk & install. it'll replace the non-working one in the ROM. i've installed it & watched 2 movies on it, so it works.

Skype does not work with Gingerbread ROM's.

I'm giving it a try. I figure there will be glitches and possibly other issues, but I want to give it a shot. GB is pretty sweet and I liked how beta 5 ran on my phone.

hey guys, figured id help out. I made a few root videos on youtube so i decided to make a rom video on how to flash das bamf 2.0.5..

i just finished flashing my phone and finished recording the video. gonna finish messing around with both then post it up if anyone wants to follow it along thats new.

Been running this ROM for a few days with no issues to report... very smooth, I like it I really like the camera 3.0 addition.. IMO, its better than the stock camera, and I HAVE not overclocked to use it. i tried to overclock and it wasn't running as well..

Im just running stock built in kernel also.

Try this thread on xda. And does that dubbin in your name mean you own a VW or anything? Just wondering

was for a VW when I had one. I just kept the name for forums. I own a subi now but still miss my MKIII Jetta to this day.

Cool, glad it worked. And get yourself another dub if your gonna ride around with that name LOL! You can buy mine, I'm selling my MKV GTI so I can pickup a MKVI TDI

Yes you'll need to wipe data and cache in order to move to 2.0.5, as well as you'll need to use the new gingerbread radio that was just released.

MKVI Golf R, due here in October. I think they are already taking pre-sales. Its a 2.0 liter K04 turbo w/awd. Actually same engine that's in my car but with a bigger turbo. I think we're off topic now though LOL
