I never incurred bricking, but even after flashing the new radio file followed by 2.0-5...I had no radio.

How are those of you running this version successfully able to do so without radio issues? What is your SEEEECRET? Tell me now, or the waterboarding begins....mwahahahaaa

link to 2.0 Beta5 seems to be broken. Also, I clicked the radio link provided but it was not obvious what radio I needed to add to make this work. Finally (sorry, I am sure this one is answered somewhere) do you flash radio then ROM? or ROM then radio?

flash either radio or rom first, but i suggest not doing both at once bc if you have a problem like a boot loop, you will not be able to get into recovery mode to fix it without jumping thru some hoops.

i would personally flash the rom (after wiping everything 3+ times), then reboot, allow a few minutes without messing with the phone to settle in, then put radio file on sd card and flash in hboot.

also check the md5 for the radio file before you flash it - can use a program like hash droid in the market or astro file manager in market

make sure the radio file you downloaded is complete - check md5
try downloading again maybe

Preview 4 is excellent... a couple of notes: could you include the Visual Voicemail in the ROM as I have been using it since you posted it with no issues... also, NFL Mobile requires the VZW auto login for it to work... other than that, it is outstanding. Just comming from a Windows Mobile background (created ROMS for many years) I appreciate the long hours spent to deliver a fine Sense 3.0 ROM!!!!

If you mean Wireless Tether from the market, I installed it by putting the phone in airplane mode and turning on wifi. It then shows up in the marketplace and you can download it. I haven't tried using it yet though.

Yea mclarryjr, I use pre 2.08 and installed from TitanumBU, but do not apply data thou. For some reason it screws up the rom, best just apply app and let binaries reconfigure themselves and finish setting up your preferences. Now I have not tried on pre4 yet cause trying let the rom stabilize first for a few hours. Hope this helps mclarrryjr and other inquires please let me know!

been using the pr4 today, and LOVING it, except... I'm not a fan of the app drawer going page by page instead of the smooth scroll. Is there a setting I can change to get the smooth scroll?

open app drawer, hit menu change to list, and if you 2 finger the screen it will allow for alphabetically order. Nice trick picked over @ friendly neighorhood xda post by ady! May not be what your looking for just exactly, but different none the same!
