umm actually i haven't experienced any of those bugs except for the fb icon issue n it was an issue with fb not the rom and i mean it is in beta so the bugs are expected .. try clearing everything and reflashing the rom and maybe you won't get the problems again

I agree you had to have a problem with the installation of the roms because I haven't had any issues or seen any reports of them. Like posted above try flashing again and make sure you wipe everything a few times.

I Haven't had any bugs at all with this ROM... Everything has pretty much worked perfectly for me thus far. dasBAMF keeps getting better IMO.

das BAMF 2.0-6 issues

Yesterday I backup up apps and contacts, cleared the cache and formatted back to factory several times from within CWM, then flashed the das BAMF 2.09-6 ROM. MDSUM was correct.

// Environment //
Kernal: default ROM
Scene: HTC
Lock Screen: Weather
Skin: HTSee

The phone icon in the middle, after pulling the green ring on the lock screen, opens All Apps instead.
The App icon on the left opens Dialer
The apk file downloaded to change the green ring back to silver doesn't work when flashing in Recovery.

Is anyone else finding this to be true on theirs?
Also, I prefer the default blue background that was in 2.0-5 over the teal(ish) in beta 6. Any way to get that plain blue gradient wallpaper?

18hrs running. No reboots, FC's, or other issues.

i just wiped everything and reflashed the rom

contacts are fixed, all the other problems are still there tho

and now google voice for voicemail is not working

As I have stated just a few pages back, I am unable to change the Ring to the Original Grey also. Other than that 2.0-6 is running almost perfect (with exeption of few bugs: battery usage within spare parts FC's; and cant use netflix, which I don't care to use anyway)

I think you have got a bad download... I would redownload the zip from the mirror site or xda or the link in the OP. Here is the OP from XDA use this to DL the ROM - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1095280 first just try a simple cache and dalvik wipe. if that doesn't fix then a full wipe will be necessary..

1st RULE of the FORUMs.. READ READ READ (alot of questions have already been answered or addressed already)
2nd RULE.. when successful ALWAYS make a nandroid backup

I personally spend at least 30 mins a day catching up on pages that I have not read on this site and over at XDA. Now I understand that within a 12 hr period there can be ALOT of posts over at XDA and I can see why someone wouldn't have the time to keep caught up. BUT this site is different, I have been a member for a while and have never spent more than 30 mins READING and catching up on a thread. the only reason I say this is because alot of the same questions and answers are repeated. another tip is to read the OP every few days, sometimes issues are reported and updated there as well.

one reason I love this site is because of the helpfulness of everybody. I very rarely post on XDA because if I just read generally the answer has already been given. I try and like to help everybody and anybody as much as I can :)

Well this leak has it's bugs, but those are not it. Some may think it's not necessary, but you need to be sure you're wiping everything at least 2 times minimally if you're having those kinds of problems. And don't restore any kind of data other than your apps to the ROM. All of your contacts should be synced with google.

You have to remember this is still in beta, and if you're looking for stability while this ROM is pretty damn stable already, you need to go back to the tried and true BAMF 1.x These guys are building this from an incomplete source, and they're doing a hell of a job for what they have to work with. I'm actually waiting for the next major release, as I've read they have been working on a more efficient platform.

The answers are 90% of the time in posts you didn't read yet ;)
Really good advice from sseth- read everything and search and you will have answers and then some.
Obviously at xda its different there's 137 pages for the threads you want to read.
Anyway, you have to read up. Then, once you've read everything, you only have to read a dozen posts every day, and that way you'll always know just about everything.

I have a question, when i download das bamf and the radios my computer (mac) decompresses them and they are no longer in a .zip format, does anybody know how to get around this?

I have never used a mac for anything phone related, BUT winzip does the same thing to me everytime, I just click on the "NEW" button and it brings up a list of recently DL'd zip's and the current zip also... then I drag and drop that zip onto my sd card. Depending on the type of zip, I make a folder to keep them organized in. unless it is a RUU or a splash screen (PB05IMG) <---these must be put directly on the root of your sd card, they will not work in a folder :)

My mac doesn't do that. I run snow leopard (10.6.x), and previously ran 10.3 and 10.5, and ive always used a free program called zipeg to unzip unrar etc things.

Nothing on my computer is automatically decompressed. Don't remember ever changing any settings to make it this way.

I would suggest downloading these files onto your phone directly from the browser, they will be saved in sd card>downloads, and you can move them around with a file manager app and get md5 checksums right on the phone as well (astro or hash droid etc), if you can't find a fix to your cpu problem

Also what sSSETH is saying - if you're cpu decompresses that file it's making a new one, and the original (.zip) is still in your downloads folder or somehting

ill give it a try, i stopped it decompressing and have just the zip. if that doesnt work then i will download directly to my phone, any bugs i should know about on this rom?

Anyone else notice when you power off your phone and turn it back on it will fall asleep after a few seconds, like it should... However, when I plug my phone in, it is set to never sleep under 'development' - 'applications' - 'settings'. So i have to manually uncheck the 'stay awake' box so that way it sleeps when charging. however, if I 'restart' my phone, it remembers the unchecked 'stay awake' setting.

is this a common bug, or just my bug... and I hope everyone understood that..
