They worked for me... XDAThe link to das Bamf 2.0-5 doesn't work for me, neither does any of the previous versions. Anyone getting the same problem? Anyone know where I can get a good link?

They're previews... work in progress until the final build of the rom is complete. As they work on the rom and make changes.. they have been releasing some previews of what it may look like in the end. Just so you know, the previews are full roms.. not add ons.. and need to be flashed like any other rom.
Preview 4 is on page 52: http://forum.androidcentral.com/thu...86004-rom-gb-5-23-11-das-bamf-2-0-5-a-52.html
Gotcha, thanks for the info. What rom is offered in the original post then? Is it known as Preview 1?

Cool, that's what I figured. Hope they do add that! Some phones do have the customize-able app drawer in their respective versions of GB, so I bet it will be added.I don't believe that there is a way to edit the app drawer and the quick settings at this time hopefully after some updates these features might be added.
Wiping cache and dalvik never hurts, i do it every once in a while. also, try and reboot your phone not just powering off.Im seem to be having really bad network connection these days. when i first got my phone my 4g connection was super fast and downloads were extremely fast. now it seems that google search almost never works adn downloads take really long. any suggestions on why? and how to fix? im running the bamf remix 1.7. and live in southern Cali. i should be having great 4g connection...Thanks!
Sounds like your still rooted if it shows s-off... I would delete the PB05IMG from your card, and reflash which ever radio you want and which ever ROM that will work with that radio... If I were you I would start from scratch (not that you have a choice)... just get that zip off your card...After reading about all the bricked phones, I decided to revert back to Froyo. I accidentally ran an update from the PG05IMG.zip that was still on my sdcard after rooting my phone using the auto-root method found below. I guess I thought this was just the stock radio for Froyo. Anyways, I now no longer have root access (according to Titanium Backup and Rom Manager) and can't boot into clockwork. If i go to the bootloader it still says I have s-off. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Well I can't get into recovery to flash a ROM, I guess I could try flashing a different radio, but will that have any chances of bringing back my ability to get into recovery, because that's my real problem. Rom manager won't let me re-flash clockwork, saying I don't have the right permissions. Rom manager also gives me the same error if I try to reboot into recovery.Sounds like your still rooted if it shows s-off... after I zip any IMG i immediately use root explorer or my computer to put into a folder on my sd card and I keep it labeled too... I have all of the Radios on alot of different ROMs on my sd card in labeled folders, if I didn't do that I would forget what I am using![]()
have you tried running fix permission from ROM manager, and do you have or use SuperUser app?Well I can't get into recovery to flash a ROM, I guess I could try flashing a different radio, but will that have any chances of bringing back my ability to get into recovery, because that's my real problem. Sounds like you somewhat unrooted... I would just continue the process of unrooting, and rerooting, then starting from scratch...Yeah, that IMG wasn't a radio, but I thought it was before I flashed it. I just realized it was the IMG that is used in the auto un-root guide that I already linked to. If you look at the guide, it shows a picture of a command prompt and one of the steps says, "The screen will eventually clear and you will see "checking PG05IMG.zip" Eventually, you will be asked: Do you want to start update?......" If I remember correctly, this rooting method flashed two of these PG05IMG.zip files. I think one was to perform some kind of downgrade and then the other was to then re-upgrade or whatever. Anyways, almost any command in ROM manager gives me the no root access error, even the fix permission thing. I downloaded SuperUser but ROM manager and titanium still couldn't find it after that, even after rebooting.
K, that's what I figured. Any advice on continuing the unroot? Could I use the auto un-root even though it's "partially unrooted?" And last but not least, is this [Radio] [Leak] Official MR2 Radio 1.39.00.0508w, 0.01.69.0510w_3 - xda-developers GB radio stable, meaning it won't permanently brick? Or is that still up for debate?Sounds like you somewhat unrooted... I would just continue the process of unrooting, and rerooting, then starting from scratch...
But, like I said, You may want to wait for someone else to help out with this![]()
I am not sure what point you are at in the unrooting process but i would 'think' that you would just need to turn the S-off to s-on and then start rooting again...K, that's what I figured. Damn... I had flashed dasBAMF2.0-6 and was having absolutely no problems either. It wasn't until I read all the hype about GB radio bricking devices that I decided to revert (which is now what's causing my problemsI am not sure what point you are at in the unrooting process but i would 'think' that you would just need to turn the S-off to s-on and then start rooting again...
there is always the potential to brick your phone no matter what radio you are using... YES, some radio's, according to other forums, are more stable than others... BUT, even the most experienced developer or user can experience a bricked phone for no reason, especaially using the new gingerbread radio with a froyo based ROM (according to other forums)
us 5% of android users that like to play around with our phones are doing it at our own risk.. I have been using the MR2 radio with dasBAMF2.0-6 with no issues at all, but others are experiencing reboots and issues
one way that I keep up with all of this stuff is following certain people on twitter, hit me up via PM if you use twitter, and I can give you a bunch of developers to follow. it will keep you ahead of all this and up to date with alot of great android stuff
I would wait too, the more advice the better, and good luckDamn... I had flashed dasBAMF2.0-6 and was having absolutely no problems either. Maybe someone else will know what's up before I get home from work to un-root/re-root.
thanks! so... how do i wipe the cache and dalvik? ... and how do i reboot? i dont see that option. sorry ...major noob.Wiping cache and dalvik never hurts, i do it every once in a while. also, try and reboot your phone not just powering off.
