[ROM][GB][5.23.11]Das BAMF 2.0-5

I cleared all data. I went ahead and restored back to foyo... Which three should i flash and in what order? the first two under downloads then the radio or the second three under previous versions then the radio?

You only need to download the first one 2.0-4.01. You have to flash GB alpha radio, make sure to clear data, cache, and kalvik....

Hey buddy, only download the Alpha Gingerbread radio. Download the bamf 4.0.1. put the two downloads on the root of your sd card. Flash the radio in hboot. (hboot= power down, volume down key+power button, press up for yes, then reboot) Delete the radio. Power down again. Volume down+Power button. select recovery. find the bamf 4.0.1 on sd and select. Let it do its thing then reboot. You should be golden.

Thanks for the help.... Just a minor issue... still have root persay but some programs are not seeing that.... like root checker... just an FYI

I like this forum WAY better. Seems like the guys on XDA are a bunch of guys that aren't getting laid. Everyone seems to be a no it all (but don't actually know anything). Thanks everyone, and thanks Android Central!!!!!!!!

Only part I don't like about xda is that people respond too damn fast and its hard as hell to keep up with it all. Then again I have found many fixes to my problems on that thread due to the amount of people responding to others questions. But I do agree that people on AC are much friendlier!

Oh and I just flashed the imos test7 kernel to help with slow charging issues experienced with gb radios. Had 3 reboots right away so I pulled the battery for 10min and it hasn't rebooted since. Not sure if its charging any faster though. Will report back later.

Are anybody else's sent messages messed up? The timestamps for my sent messages are all an hour behind what they should be, resulting in my message view being all jacked up.

It could be a regional thing, though. It's happened on my old dumbphones before.

Have you figured out how to fix this?

Its quite annoying

Can't get a signal

I can't seem to get a signal after flashing BAMF 2.0-4.01. I installed both it and the new CDMA/LTE radio combo after a system/cache/davlik wipe but the phone is telling me that the network is unavailable.

I tried redownloading the files and reinstalling them but still couldn't get the phone to pick up a signal, so I went back to 1.6.3 with the new radio files (which works).

Any ideas? Thanks

It sounds like the radio didn't flash properly for das BAMF 2.0. The radio for the GB leak doesn't work with Froyo ROMs, and vice versa. The fact that you were able to reload 1.6.3 without reflashing the radio indicates that you're still using an older radio. Confirm that you've downloaded the radio for the GB alpha leak and flash that if you want to load 2.0.

Ive noticed when running Pandora on the GB Rom it seems to be really slow. Takes some time to load and switch songs. It is almost like once one song is done there is a really long pause before the next one will load and play.

I had not tried using Pandora since switching to Gingerbread, but after seeing your post, I ran Pandora.

Seeing the same issue with Pandora. Slacker seems to be working fine so will be switching over for now.

Downgrade your pandora. The latest version is the issue, moreso than the rom.

Calls

Has anyone been having force close issues with receiving phone calls? Every time I get a call and answer it, the phone says com.android.phone has stopped, please try again. If I press force close the phone ends the call and looses all signal and I have to restart to use my phone again. It's frustrating, and I have wiped and re-flashed a couple times.

Also, Friend Stream shows posts from friends on the widget, but when opening the app, it displays nothing.

Anyone getting these same issues?

Ok, just threw this on, and the camera is choppy as hell. I'm at work and don't have time to sift through all 14 pages for a fix, has this been addressed? I'm on 2.0.4.01.

I had to revert back to 1.6 as I was having constant reboots with the latest version. First time I've encountered these famous random reboots people have been experiencing. I'll be back once it's out of beta for sure though.

I went from BAMF 1.63 to version 2.0-4.01 earlier today, and I've been pulling my hair out since. No service, gapps is crashing. ROM Manager is crashing even after a fresh dowload, and a bunch of other things not working. This version isn't for the noob, that's for sure. But it looks really really nice and the Sense 3.0 is sweet. (two thumbs up)

I keep getting a force close for com.google.process.gapps. I just flashed BAMF 2.0-4.01 with the new GB radios, and everything's running buttery smooth. I just keep getting this random force close but it doesn't look like it's really affecting anything. Any way to prevent this bug yet?
