my battery life has not improved all that much with eb01, just letting people know.

but other than that, this release is flawless so far, it runs great. maybe i'm being harsh on the battery factor, i'm just so used to undervolted

You are not being harsh on battery....sadly mine also did not improve (over DL30). With DL09 my phone could last a day. With froyo on here I have to charge multiple times throughout the day. I keep trying to convince myself it's just getting me used to what life will be like with the Thunderbolt, but honestly if the Thunderbolt turns out to be this bad I won't be keeping it. This sucks.

I've noticed when in contacts the "activities" isn't working at all. It used to populate with Facebook status updates and now it does nothing.

I flashed the new deodexed EB01 modem and ROM this morning and have been having issues sending and receiving any kind of calls, text, and data. Is there a zip I can put on the SD card to reflash the modem?

Oh and dXc, I did finally get my phone working like, well a phone :D

You can't flash the modem through the sd card. Modem has to be flashed through ODIN with the .tar file

haha. yeah. something more i guess thrilling doing it the manual way...i guess more steps you can double check yourself on. and just got it flashed w /the debloat of Adrynalyne , big thanks btw and also to Cory for getting the stock out for Adrynalyne :D. and everything is running well :D Thanks again for try`n to help me out lastnight.

Adryn or DroidX, which do you guys think offers the best battery life of these EBO1 builds? I currently have the deodexed version Adryn provided in the OP. The rom works great, infinitely faster than 2.1, but the problem is battery life. Before I flashed anything, my battery life was actually pretty good. I could get a day, at least. Now it's around 10 hours and its gone. Is this something I should just come to expect with custom roms? Or with Froyo in general? I would not be surprised at all if a snappier phone= less battery life. Just thought I would ask what the best one would be for optimum battery life. Thanks

Well the deodexed version i believe is still using the same stock kernel as the original leak. i think super clean is using a custom kernel , but ill leave that to Adrynalyne to answer since he developed the rom.

I flashed EB01 last night using the full debloated package. How do I know if I have the new radio version? I was going to flash the radio at the top of this thread but it said use the PDA button. The radio is a .bin file that the pda button in odin will not accept. If I choose the phone button in odin is lets me choose a .bin file but I thought the radio button is a no-no. ??? Is my phone already updated with the new radio?

if you were on DL09 and flashed it then you most likely have the DL09 radio
you can check by
settings>about phone>baseband at the end it will say either DL09 or EB01

the problem you are having is that you are unzipping the .tar file... dont unzip it and use odin,,, if odin does not see it then download 7zip HERE download it install it and leave it alone, then try to use odin again and it will see the eb01modem.tar file

You are correct and correct. I had extensions hidden and I thought the .tar file war a RAR archive so I unzipped it. I checked my baseband version and is is EB01. I think I am all set. Thanks for the help!

does anyone know where I can get a stock non-debloated deodexed version of EB01. There's one on xda but it still has some issues that are being worked out. or is there a way I can deodex it myself?

adryn - process worked great. Evaluating to see if any problems since I didn't wipe data/cache when flashing over DL30 (though I just wiped prior to DL09 to DL30 install 6 days ago). Things seem to be up and running nicely, though. Thanks for your hard work.

No, sorry. I have not seen one in any of these threads

thanks anyways Landshark, I just went ahead and flashed the debloated/deodexed one that Adrynalyne posted. I just didnt want to lose NFS since I actually paid for that app back when I had DL09. I should be able to take the apk from the stock files and use my backup to restore the data back to the app. So far I'm loving this bebloated verison the best, thanks Adrynalyne!!
